I moved to Fernie in 2018, after living the ski “bum” life in France for 2 ski seasons, and Lake Louise, Alberta for one. Fernie drew me in with the friendly locals, community, and incredible skiing.
Supporting and volunteering for local nonprofits and charities is so important to me, I often volunteer and Just Rosie Bookkeeping is always keen to support local East Kootenay events.
Working within bookkeeping for over 10 years now, means I have a variety of industry knowledge and truly care about every client's business.
If an office meeting feels too professional and scary, let’s meet at a coffee shop, go for a ski (snowboarders are also welcome) or hit a few balls on the tennis courts (I have a spare racket!).

Part-Time Bookkeeping
My name is Charisse, Originally from Belgium but I have been calling Canada my home since 2012. My family and I moved to the Elk Valley in 2019 and love what the area has to offer. In our spare time, my family and I love the outdoors, skiing in winter and hiking, camping, and biking in summer.
I started my bookkeeping career in Lake Louise and have been working in the field ever since. I've always loved numbers and excel is one of my favorite programs to use. I love organizing expenses and budgets so I am happy to be able to join Rosie's team.

Part-Time Admin & Bookkeeping Support
I'm Amanda, and I made the move to Fernie a few years ago—I haven't looked back since. I've fully embraced the Fernie lifestyle: whether it’s trail running, mountain biking, or skiing (downhill or cross-country), you’ll usually find me adventuring outdoors with my family.
I currently work in Project Management and recently earned my PMP certification. I bring a strong sense of organization, a can-do attitude, and a love of learning to everything I do.
I'm delighted to be the newest member of the Just Rosie Bookkeeping team, and I'm excited to dive into the world of bookkeeping with such a great group of people.

Part-Time Marketing and Admin
Born and raised in Fernie, I've spent my whole life being grateful for where I live. I love walks along the river, x-country skiing, and crewing my husband during his ultra runs—cheering him on and being part of it, without having to run all night. My favorite thing is spending time with my teenagers—whether I’m chauffeuring them around, visiting my daughter at university, or pretending I can play basketball with my son.
I am thrilled to be part of the Just Rosie Bookkeeping team. Rosie has been an integral part of helping us with our business, and I’m excited to work and learn from her.
